CLINICIAN
Hi, I’m Amanda.
I hold a Master of Science in both School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lincoln Memorial University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Child & Family Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2012 and have had the opportunity to support individuals in a variety of settings, including residential treatment, school-based therapy, crisis intervention, in-home services for children, and intensive outpatient group therapy. For the past two years, I’ve been practicing in a private practice setting.
I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and EMDR, and I primarily work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and postpartum challenges. As a mom myself, I bring both professional knowledge and personal understanding into the room—especially when working with parents and families.
I believe therapy can be a meaningful space for growth, healing, and learning the tools needed to move through life with greater confidence and balance.
I work with adolescents (12+) and adults, and I strive to create a space that feels warm, supportive, and genuinely relatable—where you can feel comfortable showing up just as you are.
