About Amanda P.
Amanda Parker, BA
CLINICIAN IN TRAINING
Hi, I'm Amanda! I am a social work graduate student working towards my Trauma Treatment Certificate. I earned my B.A. in Sociology and Human Services in 2014, and for the past ten years, I've worked in a variety of roles to support individuals and families. These have included providing counseling to students at a Montessori school, case management and school support to refugee families, coaching support for families seeking economic empowerment, and support to children and youth in community mental health and nonprofit settings. Currently, I help facilitate intensive group therapy for both adults and adolescents.
I approach each session with a deep respect for your unique experience, cultural background, and perspective. I believe in creating a compassionate, non-judgmental space where we can collaborate together. I look forward to meeting you!
