About Faith
Faith McElroy, J.D., MSW Intern (she/her)
SECOND YEAR INTERN
Hi, I’m Faith! I have found therapy to be a transformative tool – one which can dislodge negative thought loops and habits that subtly undermine your happiness.
A little about me: I am a lawyer-turned-therapist and am very excited to have found a way to help clients in a way that feels meaningful to both of us. Clients describe me as sensitive, aware, gentle, and responsive. I am a very tools-based person, and would love to help you expand your toolbox to give you more control over yourself and the direction of your life. I’m adaptive as a therapist and, depending on what you’re looking for, I can lead the sessions, providing tips, and homework; or I can listen and help you recognize patterns as you unwind your thoughts.
I take a humanistic approach, borrowing from CBT and DBT, as they apply to your situation. I’m happy to serve clients in BIPOC, LGBTQ+, or secular communities. I hope that, together, we can uncover the ingredients for what a fulfilling life looks like for you.
